When adventure wedding couple Claire & Joel contacted us to photographer their adventurous elopement in Glacier National Park we knew they were the perfect fit for us. Claire and Joel wanted the full Montana wedding experience with just a few close friends followed by amazing photos in the Many Glacier area of the park which is one of our favorites!! They chose a nearby ceremony location for their intimate ceremony to make it easy for family of Ryan’s Beach and then the 4 of us took the scenic drive over to the East side of Glacier for those big view shots. When we showed up at the lodging for some getting ready photos Clair had ALL the amazing details laid out for us including the sweetest boxed gifts for each of her vendors. These two held on to a few traditional elements with special details from family as well as Joel designing Claire’s beautiful bouquet since his family owns a 100+ year old floral business and he himself is a master florist. Otherwise, these two were so relaxed and laid back on their wedding day focusing on each other and their beautiful love. They even sweetly helped one another get dressed and ready for their special day. These two-love adventure and the outdoors so Glacier Park was a must for them. They also love the finer details and knew that just because they chose an intimate wedding in Glacier that they could still include all of the amazing details and vendors they wanted. “We met playing soccer in several adult leagues. We have a large mutual friend group that we would weekly hangout at soccer, travel for soccer tournaments, take float trips and spend time with. After many years of spending time in the large group hanging out, Joel asked me out. Took me about 2 months to figure out that we were dating! I finally got it when we went on our first camping trip together and Joel told me that I needed to add horses and a barn to my wish list for my future house! He had even picked a close local spot to camp, as he wasn't sure a) I knew we were dating and b) that I actually would enjoy camping! Just in case the weekend was a bust! Luckily for us, I figured it out and have a love for actual camping! We both love soccer, traveling, hiking, camping and our dogs (we have a rescue pit/lab mix JD and a red, bluetick coonhound Jake). Basically we love being active and outside whenever possible! We love having a good meal together whether out or cooked at home! We enjoying watching/attending sporting events or just having a good date night! Mostly we enjoy spending time living life with each other, we both are known for saying that each is our other half!
